FALLING
The last leaf falling in autumn š
In the crisp embrace of autumnās breath,
A tapestry woven, whispers of death
Golden hues linger on branches bare,
As nature prepares for a slumbering snare
The trees stand tall, their stories unfold,
Each leaf a memory, a secret retold
From vibrant greens to fiery red,
Now hues of amber dance overhead
The wind plays softly, a gentle sigh,
As the last leaf trembles, ready to fly
It clings to the branch, a delicate plea,
āLet me linger longer, just one more spreeā
Underneath, the earth waits with open arms,
To cradle the leaf, with all its charms.
A final farewell to the summerās delight,
As daylight wanes, giving way to night.
The sun dips low, casting shadows long,
In the quiet of dusk, nature hums a song.
The leaf, once proud, now begins to sway,
In a ballet of grace, itās time to decay.
It twirls through the air, a dancer so free,
Embracing the moment, as it longs to be
Whispers of wind guide its gentle descent,
A journey of colors, a life well-spent
Upon reaching the ground, it finds its place,
Amongst the soft earth, it leaves a trace
A reminder of warmth, of laughter and light,
In the heart of the forest, it glows through the night
With each passing hour, the chill starts to creep,
As nature settles down for a long, peaceful sleep
The last leaf now rests, its journey complete,
Cradled by autumn, in a blanket so sweet
Seasons will change, the snowflakes will fall,
Yet the last leaf whispers, āIāve cherished it allā
For every beginning holds echoes of grace,
In the cycle of life, we each find our place
So let us remember, as leaves turn to dust,
In fleeting moments, we find love and trust
Like the last leaf falling, letās embrace each day,
With hope in our hearts, as we find our own way
Embrace the change, for every ending brings a new beginning
